BUSA 25 Mile TT

Cambridge University CC hosted the 2009 BUSA 25 Mile TT
Championships, which incorporated the annual battle of the blues in the
form of the Oxford vs Cambridge Cycling Varsity Match. Oxford brought
home 3 BUSA medals this year. Jesse Elzinga (riding Alice Gordon) did
an awesome ride to bring
home the Men's bronze medal, Sophie Pooley took the Women's Bronze
and the Oxford trio of Elzinga, Weatherall and Martin took the BUSA
Team Silver.
Unfortunately, Oxford were not able to dominate in the Varsity match
(as has been the case in recent years). Jesse Elzinga took the Men's
Individual Trophy but the Cambridge Men took the team prize.
