BUSA 25 Mile TT Date: 03/05/2008 Oxford University CC hosted the 2008 BUSA 25 Mile TT
Championships, which incorporated the annual battle of the blues in the
form of the Oxford vs Cambridge Cycling Varsity Match. Oxford brought
home 3 BUSA medals this year. Dave McGaw did an awesome ride to bring
home the Men's silver medal, Marcie Reinhert took the Women's Bronze
and the Oxford trio of McGaw, Elzinga and Martin took the BUSA Gold.
Unfortunately, Oxford were not able to dominate in the Varsity match
(as has been the case in recent years). Jesse Elzinga took the Men's
Individual Trophy but the Cambridge Men exhibited some impressive
strength in depth to take both team prizes. In the Women's the the
opposite with the Oxford trio of Reinhert, Pooley and King winning the
