BUSA 10 Mile TT

This year saw OUCC's turn to organise the BUSA 10 Mile TT Championships and president Will Meers pulled out all the stops to run a superb event. The H10/17R provided a new course for the event and the sunny spring day brought a testing head wind for the outward leg. Depsite the conditions, Gethin Butler (Central Lancashire University) broke the course record in fine style. Only seconds behind was Oxford's Dave McGaw, taking BUSA Silver and Team Gold with his team mates, Dean Robson (Bronze) and Xavier Disley (5th). In the women's event, Oxford's Rachel Hughes retained her title for the second year running at BUSA champion with a winning margin of 57 seconds. To complete Oxford's medal haul, the Women's Team Gold also went to Hughes and team mate, Katie King.
