West Ilsley - 70 miles

• At Lambourn , turn left in the village down the Lambourn Valley to Great Shefford on the A338.
• Turn left and then take the second right (it's a minor road going off at a Y-junction at the top of a sharp little rise). This road drags upwards for about three miles to come out on the B4494.
• Turn left (towards Wantage) then right to Farnborough and follow the road to West Ilsley.
• Turn left in West Ilsley, up a draggy climb to the Ridgeway, then swoop down to turn left onto the A34.
• After 300m of dual carriageway, come off up the slip road at the Chilton exit and then left again past Harwell Lab to Rowstock, Steventon, Drayton, Abingdon and home.
