Streatley
- 21 miles
- From Oxford, go up the Iffley Road, through Littlemore and Sandford
onto the A4074 (was A423).
- Keep going through Nuneham Courtney to Golden Balls roundabout,
where turn right down to Clifton Hampden.
- Right then left at the traffic lights on the A415, across the
bridge which was, incidentally, used in Merchant Ivory's E. M.
Forster adaptation "Howards End".
- Anyway, keep going through Long Wittenham;
- In half a mile where the road makes a sharp right there is a
minor road going off to the left; take this, then turn right after
another half mile at the top of the hill.
- Cross the A4130 to North Moreton; turn right in the village
to South Moreton.
- At the exit of South Moreton, turn left, then right after the
railway line to Cholsey;
- In Cholsey follow the signs for Cholsey Station (not for Streatley)
and keep going to the A417; turn right for the last three miles
to Streatley.
